For businesses that need a clear payment record
An itemized receipt lists each product or service, its quantity and price, and the amount due for the complete transaction.
When a receipt shows only one total, customers may ask what it covered or an expense record may be sent back for missing detail. Create a clearer payment record that is easier for customers and reviewers to understand. List each product or service with its quantity and price, review the calculated total, then print or save a PDF in your browser.
Fill in the receipt, review the preview, then print or save it as a PDF using your browser.
Enter the payment details, review the receipt, then print or save it as a PDF using your browser.

This fictional appliance repair receipt shows three service lines, each quantity and unit price, the calculated line amounts, a $404.00 subtotal, $33.33 in illustrative tax, and a $437.33 total. The example tax rate demonstrates the calculator only; it does not determine whether tax applies to a real transaction.
Each line amount is quantity multiplied by unit price. As you edit a description, quantity, or price, the line amount, subtotal, and total recalculate in the preview. A one-line receipt shows one charge; a multi-line receipt keeps each charge on its own row so you can review them separately.
Choose a rate when you want the generator to calculate tax from the item subtotal; enter a tax amount when you already have the amount to add. These are separate input modes: the rate is applied to the subtotal, while the amount is added as entered. The tool calculates the figures you provide and does not decide whether a transaction should be taxed.
With one item, the preview contains a single item row followed by the subtotal, any tax, and the total. With several items, each description, quantity, unit price, and line amount appears separately before those same summary amounts. Review the preview after adding or removing a row to confirm it reflects the receipt you intend to print.
1. Confirm every service description is complete and readable in the preview.
2. Compare each quantity and unit price with the transaction, then check the calculated line amounts.
3. Confirm the selected tax input is the one you intend to use and that its amount is reflected in the total.
4. Check that all item rows, subtotal, tax, and total are visible; in the print dialog, review paper size and scaling before printing or choosing Save as PDF.
